I know about the love of the forest that Marlen Haushofer writes about. I also try to convey this feeling in my work. Is it a mushroom at the edge of the forest, or are the eyes of an old soul looking back at me, crying with pain and sadness? What big and small wonders can I discover in nature and especially in the forest? This is also how the illustration “Magic Forest” came into being.
